Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 comprise the Intermediate years that build upon the knowledge and concepts learned in the Infants years, and introduce higher levels of thinking skills and co-operative learning.Intermediate School is the time when students build on the foundations laid in Infants School, consolidating their understanding of the world, and gaining confidence and experience in all Key Learning Areas. Students are encouraged to identify their strengths, abilities and needs through the development of knowledge, skills, values and attitudes in a caring environment. What are the Key Learning Areas in the 'Riverside' curriculum?
