Riverside's Christian College's has a comprehensive and co-ordinated Student and Family Support system for all members of the Riverside community.
Riverside provides a caring learning environment in partnership with parents in which our students' personal growth and well-being are nurtured and supported within a climate of Christian ethos and values.
Heading the program are a number of staff who have been chosen for their skills to provide support to families and students.

The Assistant Principal: Director of Student and Family Support, overseas the running of our Pastoral Care program

The Learning Enhancement teacher provides assisance for students requiring exra support in their learning,m including extension in the E-Zone.

The College Chaplain provides support in a Pastoral role, offering counselling and a listening ear to students, families and staff. The Chaplain also provides input into the College in areas of social and spiritual support.

The Child Protection Officers assist the College to take Child Safety seriously, taking positive steps to ensure that children are not placed in a position of harm while at the College.

Our experienced and specialised teachers will make arrangements to meet with DE students and families through Home Visits

The development of the Riverside Portal provides students and families instant access to their teachers and all the resources Riverside is able to offer on-line.

Our Career Education service provides students in Middle and Senior Schools information and support as they explore their options for study and employment

Students and families are guided in the development of a Senior Education and Training Plan. At Riverside, this can include learning full-time through the Day School, completing modules at TAFE, involvement in a part-time employment, apprenticeship or training program, studying through Distance Education, or a combination of these options.
