A variety of Curriculum models are used to best meet the needs of the learner at Riverside.

Riverside Curriculum is based on the National Outcomes, Profiles and Level Statements for students in Years 1 to 10.  This ensures that continuous learning programs with defined standards are provided for each student.

Learning programs may consist of, or contain, material from other curriculum models e.g. state curriculum documents, Accelerated Christian Education, LLATL etc.  Distance Education students are able to choose programs comprised of these alternative curriculum, all of which are mapped against the National Outcomes.

Students in Years 11 and 12 will be able to complete school-based subjects or Board subjects that are registered/approved with the Queensland Studies Authority.
