At Riverside Christian College the emotional well-being of our students is just as important as their academic endeavours.

For students who are struggling with school or life issues, support is available.  As part of the pastoral care program, students in the Middle and Senior School have access to the Guidance Counsellor who can provide social and emotional support as well as other support services.  If therapy is deemed necessary, families are referred to the appropriate community agency.

The Guidance Counsellor also provides educational support in the areas of; Cyber safety, Bullying, Friendships, Healthy Relationships, Positive Psychology and strength-based education.

If you would like to speak with a Guidance Counsellor students and their families can book an appointment by contacting reception on 07 4123 1031 or email college@riverside.qld.edu.au.
